Cyprus cooking classes
This gastronomic activity gives you an opportunity to learn a little about traditional Cyprus cuisine, to take part in the cooking of national dishes and, no doubt, to enjoy their delicious taste.
Our "gustable" trip will start with a coup of aromatic coffee after which we will make a tour around the olive oil and carob syrup producing rooms. Olive oil has for long been the chief ingredient of Mediterranean cuisine, the key to longevity.
We will teach you the secrets of cooking traditional Cyprus hallumi cheese and olive pie. We will also show you how to cook sheftalies, musaka, keftedes, Cyprus patties, Greek salad and of course kleftiko, also named "stolen meat"/ Not forgetting essential side dishes to a Cypriot meal - tzatziki, olive paste and hummos.
Than you will have a delicious lunch consisting of all dishes you have learned about. And of course there is no feast without homemade wine!
Note: the tour is arranged in small groups - maximum of 30 people
