A half-day excursion for exploring some unique sites of historical interest. Visit  Khirokitia, the cradle of civilization on the island, dating back to the 7th millennium B.C. After passing through a magnificent landscape, a visit to the Ayios Minas monastery, founded in the 15th century and rebuilt in 1740, one of the last places in the world where icon painting is still practiced. In the church, enjoy a moment of peace and calm. In Lefkara, a village famous for its silversmiths and embroideries, the participants will have the opportunity to stroll among the streets where village women sit and embroider in the shade. According to tradition, Leonardo da Vinci is said to have acquired a lace here for the Milan cathedral.
